"I enjoy manipulating metal in unexpected ways, transforming hard sheet and wire into organic shapes and textures. Bending, folding, reticulating, hammering, and melting are all exploratory processes I use to see where the metal takes me. I love the surprises and solutions that come from allowing my creative energy to flow. Engaging in a creative process is a playful way for me to stretch my thinking, problem-solve, experiment with ideas, and express them in ways not limited by words."
